Lab Technician (Concrete)

Location: Lawrenceville, Georgia, USA; local travel around the Atlanta metropolitan area and Georgia, with occasional travel to neighboring Southeast US states.

What you will do

• Conduct quality control and assurance testing on concrete and other construction products and materials.
• Mix and batch concrete and fabricate test samples by weighing ingredients and operating mixers.
• Clean and assemble molds and specialized testing equipment.
• Perform testing according to applicable standards and record test data.
• Provide technical advice on testing techniques and solutions while following internal procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 0–3 years of experience in laboratory testing.
• Basic knowledge of hand tools, power tools, sample fabrication, scales, and balances.
• Basic mathematical, reasoning, and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Basic working knowledge of Office 365 and the ability to perform physical laboratory and field work.

Nice to have

• Associate or bachelor's degree in a related discipline.
