Engineering Co-Op (January-May 2027)

Location: Glens Falls, New York, United States; onsite role

Salary: $21.25–$30.75 per hour

hirify.global is a large healthcare organization and medical device manufacturer with more than 45,000 employees worldwide. The Glens Falls Namic site manufactures fluid delivery devices for angiographic and cardiac procedures, as well as custom kits.

What you will do

• Work with senior engineers on individual and group engineering projects.
• Coordinate and execute activities to qualify devices for the Glens Falls facility.
• Develop and validate manufacturing processes and identify improvements.
• Analyze production bottlenecks, verify labor standards, and conduct time studies.
• Perform laboratory testing for process validations and feasibility studies.
• Submit engineering change notices and update product drawings, process documentation, bills of materials, and packaging information.

Requirements

• Background in Mechanical or Biomedical Engineering.
• Junior standing with a minimum 3.0 GPA preferred.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, organization, communication, data analysis, and follow-up skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
• Unrestricted permanent US work authorization required.

Nice to have

• Experience with SolidWorks or other CAD software.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement principles.
• Knowledge of database applications such as Access or FoxPro.
