Supply Chain Operations Specialist Trainee (Warehouse and Logistic) (Career Conversion Program)

Location: Tuas, Singapore; onsite work in a cleanroom and controlled manufacturing environment.

What you will do

• Perform GMP-compliant sampling of raw materials using approved SOPs, sampling plans, and validated equipment.
• Label, document, segregate, and inspect samples while reporting deviations, abnormalities, and out-of-specification observations.
• Receive, pick, store, stage, kit, and dispatch materials for manufacturing, QC laboratories, external testing facilities, and contract manufacturers.
• Coordinate temperature-controlled sample logistics across ambient, refrigerated, and frozen storage conditions.
• Execute warehouse-system transactions, maintain inventory and consumables, perform cycle counts, and reconcile records.
• Support deviation investigations, root-cause analysis, CAPA implementation, waste handling, sanitisation, and GMP housekeeping.

Requirements

• Higher NITEC or Diploma in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Microbiology, Life Sciences, Biotechnology, or a related scientific or technical field; ITE graduates with relevant experience may also be considered.
• Preferred: 2–5 years of experience in a GMP-regulated pharmaceutical, biotech, or life-sciences environment; alternatively, 1–3 years in warehousing or logistics with willingness to learn GMP sampling.
• Knowledge of cGMP, GDP, ALCOA+ data integrity principles, SOPs, and aseptic sampling practices.
• Experience with cold-chain logistics, quarantine and release processes, stability or expiry management, SAP, LIMS, ERP, or warehouse-management systems is advantageous.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel, with the ability to learn electronic documentation and transaction systems quickly.
• Must be able to work in a cleanroom, wear required gowning, lift up to 20 kg, and stand or walk for extended periods.
