Personal Lines Account Manager (CST)

Location: Remote within the U.S. Central Time Zone (CST)

Salary: $55,000–$65,000 per year, plus a 5% bonus

What you will do

• Service assigned personal lines client accounts independently through carrier websites and online rating systems.
• Support new and renewal marketing, account development, sales, coverage reviews, and client problem solving.
• Submit applications to eligible carriers and follow up to obtain quotes and policies on time.
• Respond professionally to underwriter questions and maintain accurate agency and document management records.
• Direct clients to carriers for claims reporting, submit specialty-market first reports when needed, and facilitate carrier responses.
• Use carrier service centers, direct billing, downloads, and other Personal Risk initiatives where appropriate.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of experience in a personal lines property and casualty insurance agency.
• Thorough understanding of property and casualty coverages, underwriting, and rating concepts.
• Hold a state Property & Casualty insurance license or obtain one within the agreed timeframe.
• High school diploma required; a college degree is preferred but not required.
• Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to prioritize workflows, maintain a high degree of accuracy, and collaborate effectively in a team environment.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Sagitta or WorkSmart.
• Industry designation such as ARM, CIC, or CPCU.
• Commitment to continued insurance education and awareness of industry information, legislation, products, coverages, and technology.
