Senior Analyst, Search and Recommendations (E-commerce)

Location: Richmond, Virginia; onsite at the hirify.global Technology Innovation Center 4 days per week. Applicants must be currently authorized to work full-time in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.

Annual salary: $88,400–$132,600, with possible bonus and equity eligibility.

What you will do

• Analyze large-scale behavioral data, including search queries, click-through rates, purchase patterns, and inventory turnover.
• Design, execute, and interpret A/B tests, holdout experiments, and pre/post analyses for algorithm and feature changes.
• Partner with data scientists on model development, validation, and ongoing monitoring.
• Connect model performance metrics with business outcomes and product decisions.
• Build and maintain dashboards and reporting for key metrics.
• Collaborate with Product, Strategy, Technology, and Operations teams and communicate findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in an analytical role, preferably in e-commerce, marketplace, or another data-rich environment.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with Python for data manipulation and analysis.
• Knowledge of hypothesis testing, confidence intervals, and experimental design.
• Experience with large datasets and tools such as Spark or Databricks is preferred.
• Ability to build and maintain reports in BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
• Bachelor’s degree in statistics, economics, mathematics, engineering, or a similar quantitative field.
