Senior Data Analyst (Vehicle Mechatronic Embedded Controls)

Location: Hybrid in Milford or Warren, Michigan; expected to report to a specific location at least three times per week. The role is not eligible for relocation benefits, and relocation costs are the candidate's responsibility.

What you will do

• Build and maintain interactive dashboards, conversational UIs, and self-service reporting tools.
• Conduct investigations and deliver clear, actionable analytical insights and recommendations.
• Translate ambiguous business questions into well-defined analytical problems and scoped deliverables.
• Support partner teams and end users in the ongoing operation of analytical products and platforms.
• Onboard partners to shared platforms and guide them toward self-service capabilities.
• Coordinate intake triage, request decomposition, prioritization, and cross-functional analytical solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in data analysis and delivery of analytical solutions to business customers.
• Proficiency with Power BI, Plotly, Streamlit, and Dash.
• Strong SQL and Python skills for analysis, reporting, and automation.
• Ability to explain technical outputs in clear business language to non-technical audiences.
• Strong stakeholder engagement, communication, and problem-solving skills in ambiguous environments.

Nice to have

• Master's degree or at least 5 years of experience solving complex business problems.
• Experience with vehicle diagnostics, warranty, quality, telematics, or embedded controls data.
• Experience consuming and integrating AI/ML model outputs and APIs.
• Experience with Azure, Databricks, Spark, Hive, Hadoop, or dBeaver.
• Experience with Agile or SAFe environments, GitHub, and CI/CD practices.
