Senior Manager, Games Family Hotel Operations

Location: Onsite at the Downtown Los Angeles-based office, Los Angeles, California, United States

Annual base salary: $105,000–$140,000. LA28 does not provide relocation assistance.

LA28 is an independent, non-profit, privately funded organizing committee responsible for the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

What you will do

• Lead operational planning and execution for the Olympic and Paralympic Family Hotels serving the IOC and IPC.
• Act as Venue Manager, overseeing venue readiness, staffing plans, operational timelines, contingency planning, and compliance with Games standards.
• Manage relationships with hotel partners and suppliers, supporting contracts, negotiations, policies, procedures, and service delivery.
• Coordinate integrated solutions with Accommodation, Transportation, Accreditation, Security, Logistics, design, technology, and other functional areas.
• Serve as the primary liaison with IOC and IPC stakeholders and lead internal and external working groups.
• Support meetings, conferences, hospitality events, office spaces, Olympic Club integration, and other Games-time activities hosted at the hotels.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in an international large-event, multi-sport Games, hotel, or related environment.
• 5+ years of direct people management experience, including full-time staff, contractors, or large volunteer teams.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and delivering large-scale projects or events from planning through execution.
• Experience working with external stakeholders such as government agencies, sponsors, or international partners.
• Degree or diploma from a recognized post-secondary institution in a related field.
• Oral and written fluency in English and availability for onsite work in Los Angeles are required.

Nice to have

• Hotel operating systems and accommodation allocation experience.
• Experience training teams and reviewing or negotiating contracts.
• Experience working in multilingual settings or knowledge of other languages.
