Base pay: $199,000–$343,275 annually.

What you will do
- Develop and execute North America Medical Affairs strategy aligned with franchise and global objectives.
- Lead and develop Medical Affairs professionals and Medical Science Liaisons across the United States and Canada.
- Provide scientific and clinical leadership for product lifecycle management, innovation, commercialization, safety, and compliance.
- Oversee medical governance and support regional clinical research and evidence-generation programs.
- Build relationships with key opinion leaders, healthcare professionals, investigators, academic institutions, and professional societies.
- Manage operating budgets, review scientific communications, and provide insights for business and executive decisions.
Requirements
- MD, DO, MBBS, or equivalent medical degree.
- At least 5 years of experience in Medical Affairs, Clinical Development, Medical Devices, Pharmaceuticals, Diagnostics, or a related healthcare industry.
- At least 5 years of clinical experience involving direct patient care.
- Experience creating strategic vision, leading organizational change, and executing cross-functional initiatives.
- Strong knowledge of clinical research, evidence generation, healthcare regulations, and medical governance.
- Excellent communication, leadership, business, and stakeholder-management skills.
Nice to have
- Experience in medical devices, surgical technologies, or MedTech.
- Previous direct or indirect people leadership in Medical Affairs.
- Experience supporting North American or global healthcare markets.
- MBA or another advanced business qualification.
- Strategic planning, financial management, and organizational leadership experience.
