Focus on resolving denied claims, educating providers on coding and billing, coordinating cross-functional patient support, and managing field cases with up to 50% travel.
Location: US - Florida - Jacksonville. Field-based role with phone, virtual, and in-person engagement and travel of up to 50%, including occasional overnight and weekend commitments.
Annual base salary: $158,394–$185,578 for Level 5; $164,276–$222,256 for Level 6.

What you will do
- Support patients, caregivers, healthcare providers, and sites of care with insurance benefits, prior authorization, reimbursement, and therapy access.
- Identify and resolve coverage questions, authorization barriers, denied claims, and other access challenges before and after infusion.
- Educate physician offices and infusion centers on reimbursement pathways, coding, billing, and payer requirements.
- Provide information about co-pay assistance, national foundations, and free drug programs when appropriate.
- Collaborate with Market Access, Medical Affairs, Advocacy, Case Management, and Site of Care teams.
- Maintain case documentation, report adverse events and product complaints, and follow compliance requirements.
Requirements
- Doctorate degree; or a master’s degree plus 2–4 years of relevant experience; or a bachelor’s degree plus 4–6 years; or an associate’s degree plus 8 years; or a high school diploma/GED plus 10 years of patient services or access and reimbursement experience.
- Experience with patient access, reimbursement processes, prior authorization, appeals, and denied claims management.
- Ability to manage complex patient situations, resolve access barriers, and respond rapidly to urgent access needs.
- Knowledge of HIPAA, FDA, OIG, and internal compliance requirements.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a matrix field environment and travel up to 50%.
Nice to have
- Experience supporting buy-and-bill or infused pharmaceutical therapies.
- Rare disease or orphan drug experience.
- Clinical background in nursing or allied health.
- Experience working in cross-functional field teams and proficiency with Microsoft Office, CRM, AI, and relevant systems.
