AI Applications Developer (Agentic AI)

What you will do

• Build AI-powered applications providing agentic and generative AI capabilities to commercial, supply chain, manufacturing, and R&D users.
• Develop and tune RAG pipelines for product specifications, Safety Data Sheets, procedures, emails, and meeting transcripts using document parsing, chunking, embeddings, hybrid search, and reranking.
• Create domain-specific tools and MCP-based connectors for ERP, planning, analytics, content management, and custom API integrations.
• Build chat interfaces, approval workflows, and result-review screens with Copilot Studio, Power Apps, Teams apps, Streamlit, or React.
• Implement schema validation, business rules, content safety, PII handling, and user confirmation for write operations.
• Deploy and operate applications on Azure AI Foundry or Container Apps, adding observability, evaluation, logging, documentation, and production support.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
• 5+ years of software development or data and analytics engineering experience, including recent hands-on work with LLMs or AI-powered applications.
• Strong Python skills and familiarity with TypeScript or JavaScript for front-end development.
• Experience with an AI or agent framework such as LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, Semantic Kernel, AutoGen, or CrewAI.
• Practical experience with LLM APIs, structured outputs, RAG, vector databases, enterprise APIs, SQL, and modern data platforms.
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD, basic DevOps workflows, requirements gathering, stakeholder demonstrations, problem-solving, communication, and technical documentation.

Nice to have

• Experience with Microsoft Copilot Studio, Microsoft 365 Copilot extensibility, Power Apps, or Power Automate.
• Experience with Azure AI Foundry agents, Palantir AIP, MCP, tool calling, prompt registries, or LLM observability and evaluation tools.
• Experience with Docker, containerized deployments, Terraform, Bicep, or UX design for business applications.
• Portfolio projects or community contributions demonstrating generative or agentic AI experimentation.
• Experience in process industries, manufacturing, supply chain, or commercial analytics.
