Associate Software Engineer (Python AI)

Location: 100% remote anywhere in the United States

What you will do

• Assist with designing, developing, and maintaining Python-based AI applications.
• Work with team members to understand requirements and implement features.
• Define and validate data models using Pydantic.
• Write clean, documented code and participate in code reviews.
• Troubleshoot basic technical issues and incorporate feedback.
• Support testing and CI/CD processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent background.
• At least one year of experience building enterprise-level software.
• Good knowledge of Python, object-oriented programming, and REST APIs.
• Knowledge of large language models and AI coding tools such as Claude Code or GitHub Copilot.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team and follow instructions.
• Willingness to learn, take initiative, and accept feedback.

Nice to have

• Experience with TypeScript, JavaScript, or Node.js.
• Exposure to Git, testing concepts, backend development, or data engineering.
• Familiarity with AWS, GCP, or Azure.
