Location: Los Angeles, California, United States; in-person attendance is required. Occasional travel to venues across the Los Angeles region and potentially outside Greater Los Angeles is required. Working hours may include evenings, weekends, and holidays during peak event periods. Relocation assistance is not provided.
Annual base salary: $88,000–$108,000.

LA28 is an independent, non-profit, privately funded organizing committee responsible for the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
What you will do
- Plan and deliver operational readiness for a group of Olympic and Paralympic competition venues.
- Coordinate cross-functional planning with functional areas, document operational plans, and manage milestones and deliverables.
- Plan and deliver test events, stakeholder site visits, service-level planning, and venue readiness activities.
- Manage back-of-house operations for Press, Broadcast, and Games Family client groups during Games-time.
- Lead venue walkthroughs, access and accreditation coordination, and cross-functional issue resolution.
- Coordinate staffing, manage team members, and support venue-wide operations as a proxy for the Event General Manager or Deputy Event General Manager.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in venue management, event management, major Games delivery, major event properties, or event production.
- Proven experience planning and delivering large-scale, complex event operations across planning, readiness, and operational phases.
- Experience managing diverse, high-performing teams and building cross-functional partnerships with executives and stakeholders.
- Strong negotiation, diplomacy, communication, organizational, problem-solving, and stakeholder-influencing skills.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- Fluency with Microsoft Office products, including Excel and PowerPoint.
