Senior Manager, Satellite Villages and Other Accommodation

Location: Onsite in Downtown Los Angeles, California, United States; travel to satellite villages and other accommodation sites is required. LA28 does not provide relocation assistance, and working hours may include evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Annual base salary: $105,000–$140,000.

LA28 is delivering the 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games, including accommodation operations for residents across satellite villages and decentralized sites.

What you will do

• Support planning and delivery of decentralized accommodation through budgets, project plans, Venue Use Agreements, Venue Operational Plans, and related documentation.
• Coordinate operational readiness across multiple sites, including space allocation, equipment, technology integration, training, testing, simulations, and venue activation.
• Build relationships with venue owners, local authorities, accommodation partners, and Games functional areas.
• Lead workforce planning, recruitment, onboarding, training, deployment, and daily coordination for site managers and operational teams.
• Oversee resident services, arrivals and departures, key management, housekeeping, maintenance, and Games-time service delivery.
• Manage risks, issues, reporting, knowledge management, and continuous improvement throughout planning and delivery.

Requirements

• At least 7 years of experience in project management, events, venues, accommodation, or operational delivery.
• Experience managing complex projects or workstreams involving multiple stakeholders, competing priorities, and cross-functional coordination.
• Experience with large-scale events, major sporting events, multi-site operations, hospitality, accommodation, or venue-based environments.
• Proven ability to recruit, onboard, train, develop, and lead operational teams.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and independent judgment skills.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and collaboration tools, including Smartsheet, SharePoint, Loop, and Teams.

Nice to have

• Experience with Olympic, Paralympic, or other major international sporting events.
• Proficiency in one or more additional languages.
• Experience delivering resident or guest services in residential or hospitality settings.
