Quality Control Manager (Pharmaceuticals)

Base pay: €56,100–€96,945 annually

What you will do

• Lead day-to-day chemical and microbiological laboratory operations, including product testing and environmental monitoring.
• Represent Quality Control in cross-functional projects and provide scientific and operational input for analytical methods, processes, control strategies, and launch readiness.
• Drive laboratory readiness and product robustness for new product introduction launches by anticipating analytical risks, supporting technical decisions, and transferring knowledge into routine operations.
• Build partnerships with Quality, Operations, Engineering, and local and global stakeholders to align priorities, manage risks, and make timely decisions.
• Develop strategic plans, improve laboratory capabilities and workflows, introduce fit-for-purpose technologies, and ensure compliance within budget.
• Coach and develop a team of approximately 40 professionals while fostering inclusion, accountability, continuous learning, and quality ownership.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Chemistry, Pharmacy, Biology, or a related scientific field.
• Relevant pharmaceutical-industry experience, including people-management experience.
• Sound knowledge of pharmaceutical Quality Control, GMP, data integrity, and regulatory requirements.
• Demonstrated ability to coach teams, lead change, improve workflows, and influence stakeholders across functions, cultures, geographies, and organizational levels.
• Fluent English is essential.
