Summer 2027 Human Resources Intern (Oil & Gas)

Location: Midland, Texas; must be willing to work in Midland for the duration of the internship

hirify.global is an independent oil and natural gas company focused on acquiring, developing, exploring, and exploiting unconventional onshore reserves in the Permian Basin in West Texas.

What you will do

• Own an individual Human Resources project throughout the approximately 12-week summer internship and present the completed project to the executive team.
• Support recruiting activities, including candidate communication, interview scheduling, and onboarding.
• Assist with employee relations, compensation, and benefits projects, including data gathering and analysis in HRIS.
• Help develop and deliver training and development materials for employees.
• Work with Human Resources and other business functions under the guidance of an experienced mentor.
• Participate in field visits to an active drilling rig and completions spread, as well as intern and community events.

Requirements

• Must be willing to work in Midland, Texas for the duration of the internship.
• Pursuing a bachelor's degree or higher in Business Management, Human Resources, Psychology, Organizational Development, or a similar discipline.
• Strong interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills.
• Must be returning to school for the Fall 2027 semester.

Nice to have

• Cumulative GPA of 3.20 or higher.
• Extracurricular achievements or prior work experience.
