Associate Strategist, Integrated Communications

Location: New York City only; hybrid work schedule required

Salary: $57,000–$63,000 per year for New York City-based hires

What you will do

• Provide account support, research, and brainstorming for brand communications clients.
• Identify influential voices across new and traditional media, earned and paid influencers, and create outreach lists.
• Monitor coverage and prepare daily and weekly reports.
• Spot emerging trends across digital platforms.
• Develop media materials, including pitches, executive messaging, and press releases.

Requirements

• 1–2 years of experience in public relations or a similar field, including integrated communications or marketing programs.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or equivalent professional experience.
• Strong writing and analytical skills, with basic knowledge of public relations and communications.
• Detail-oriented, proactive, solutions-oriented, and able to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
• Curiosity, openness to experimentation, and interest in emerging industry developments.
• Basic proficiency with generative AI tools such as ChatGPT, MidJourney, Runway, DALL·E, or similar platforms, and an understanding of their day-to-day communications applications.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Muck Rack, Microsoft Office, Google Drive and Apps, and Keynote.
