What you will do

• Perform routine and non-routine QC chemistry testing using chromatographic, wet chemistry, and instrumental methods.
• Operate HPLC, KF, TLC, FTIR, pH, and UV-Vis instrumentation, with an emphasis on chromatography.
• Troubleshoot instrumentation and routine test methods and support senior personnel with investigations.
• Author basic investigative studies for out-of-specification and out-of-trend results.
• Document testing according to Good Documentation Practices and conduct peer review of data.
• Train and mentor less experienced analysts on GMP, safety, laboratory techniques, and department procedures.

Requirements

• Advanced knowledge of chromatographic techniques and laboratory instrumentation.
• Ability to perform the majority of analytical tests within the Quality Control department.
• Experience with routine and non-routine QC chemistry testing.
• Ability to communicate work-related issues clearly to management and peers.
• Ability to follow Good Documentation Practices and review analytical data for accuracy and compliance.
