Analytical Clinical Chemistry Scientist

Location: Rensselaer, New York, USA; candidates must be within commuting distance. Full-time, on-site schedule Monday-Friday, 8:00 am-4:00 pm, with overtime as needed.

Salary: $26.25-$33.50 per hour.

What you will do

• Set up, run, maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot HPLC and UPLC instrumentation.
• Prepare protein samples, standards, controls, organic and salt mobile phases, and acidic cleaning solutions.
• Perform MCE and iCEIF assays and handle micropipettes.
• Gather, process, and record test data in an electronic database.
• Review results against validity, suitability, and specification criteria and report quality anomalies.
• Maintain laboratory supplies, equipment, procedures, and required safety and quality documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or a related field with 2-4 years of experience, or a master’s degree with 0-2 years of experience.
• Experience running and maintaining HPLC or UPLC systems.
• Experience with MCE and iCEIF assays and knowledge of cGMP.
• Strong technical, computer, organizational, communication, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, learn new techniques, manage multiple tasks, and follow procedures.
• Authorization to work indefinitely in the United States without restriction or sponsorship.
