TL;DR
Data Analytics Engineer (Snowflake/dbt/Fivetran/Sigma): Building and supporting an enterprise data warehouse and business intelligence platform with an accent on scalable data models, ELT pipelines, governed semantic layers, and self-service dashboards. Focus on designing dimensional models and analytical queries, improving data quality and performance, and translating stakeholder requirements into reliable reporting solutions.
Location: Hybrid role with on-site presence in the Manhattan office 3 to 4 days per week; New York, NY

What you will do
- Design, implement, maintain, and support the Fivetran, Snowflake, dbt, and Sigma data warehouse and business intelligence stack.
- Build scalable data models, dimension views, fact tables, semantic layers, dashboards, and reporting solutions.
- Gather functional and technical requirements from stakeholders and translate them into analytical and visualization solutions.
- Support daily data warehouse and data mart operations, troubleshoot anomalies, and optimize performance, access, and data flows.
- Improve data quality, governance, documentation, and self-service reporting across the organization.
- Collaborate with enterprise data analysts, data governance teams, and cross-functional business units.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field, plus at least 2 years of progressively responsible software engineering experience.
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake, Sigma, Fivetran, and dbt, including dbt orchestration, Snowflake Virtual Warehouses, and data modeling.
- Experience designing analytical queries, reports, visualizations, and semantic layers in Sigma and dbt.
- Strong SQL and data transformation skills, with knowledge of dimensional modeling, ELT design, and Snowflake-based cloud data platforms.
- Experience with CI/CD for data warehousing and business intelligence, data quality standards, access controls, metadata management, and data governance.
