Senior Technical Graphics Specialist

Location: Nashville, Tennessee, United States. Onsite full-time schedule: 4:00 PM–1:00 AM CT, Monday–Friday.

Salary: $70,000–$75,000 per year.

What you will do

• Design invitations, newsletters, advertisements, posters, banners, brochures, litigation graphics, demonstratives, and patent drawings.
• Create, revise, customize, and animate PowerPoint presentations using templates and firm standards.
• Perform document cleanup, formatting, proofreading, PDF preparation, and other document-processing tasks.
• Provide production support, answer application and procedure questions, and assist IT with help desk inquiries.
• Manage multiple assignments, respond to project-status inquiries, and complete complex production work with limited supervision.
• Train, mentor, and share knowledge with other specialists.

Requirements

• Minimum 7 years of progressive graphic design experience.
• Advanced proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere, and After Effects.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, including troubleshooting, formulas, document formatting, mail merges, and presentation animation.
• Adobe Acrobat expertise covering PDF conversion, hyperlinking, combining and embedding files, fillable forms, revisions, and redactions.
• Strong proofreading, communication, customer service, organization, technical aptitude, and graphic creativity.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-production environment, maintain a flexible schedule, and work overtime as needed.

Nice to have

• Degree in Graphic Design.
• Experience with action and macro development, document shortcuts, CAD, AIA, Visio, transcription software, DocXtools, OmniPage 14, or ChangePro.
• Typing speed of at least 75 words per minute.
