Manufacturing Technician - 2nd Shift (CNC)

Location: Solon, Ohio, United States; onsite, 2nd shift.

What you will do

• Generate solutions for machining quality issues reported by machine operators.
• Recommend improvements to tool life and cycle times in existing CNC programs.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues with maintenance personnel.
• Perform mechanical realignments of CNC equipment and workholding independently.
• Create manufacturing documentation and work instructions for CNC equipment.
• Support manufacturing engineering with process, equipment, and tooling improvements, including machinery relocation and installation.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade school preferred.
• 3–5 years of direct CNC machining setup experience.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent print-reading skills, including GD&T.
• Ability to understand engineering drawings, schematics, maintenance work orders, and manufacturers' manuals.
• Computer skills with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Nice to have

• Experience with 3D modeling and CAD.
• Technical or trade school education.
