TL;DR

Senior Software Engineer (Fintech, Go): Building and optimizing high-load backend services for an investment API with an accent on distributed systems architecture, API design, and reliability. Focus on designing and implementing event-driven, fault-tolerant microservices and ensuring system scalability and performance within the fintech domain.

Location: Work from any of our hubs in Berlin, London or Tallinn hybrid or remotely across Europe. Flexibility to work remotely abroad for up to 183 days a year.

What you will do

  • Make an impact in a true product team with a large ownership scope.
  • Work with cutting-edge Go technologies without a legacy codebase.
  • Improve the reliability of the API.
  • Deliver fast and often using agile methodology.
  • Design, build and own event-driven, fault-tolerant, horizontally scalable distributed systems using Microservice architecture powered by Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka, and PostgreSQL.

Requirements

  • Previous Go experience in a production environment, or experience in Fintech and willingness to switch to Go.
  • Experience with Investment products or the Fintech domain in general.
  • Experience in event-driven architectures, event streaming, and event sourcing systems.
  • Experience with operating services in a decoupled, event-driven system, leveraging modern observability tooling (e.g., monitoring and tracing).
  • English: B2 required
  • Location: Must be based in Europe
