What you will do

• Lead technical initiatives across card systems, including ordering, issuing, and transaction monitoring.
• Design, build, and validate robust backend solutions using Node.js and event-driven architecture.
• Collaborate with architects, security, and product teams to modernize existing systems into cloud-native patterns.
• Integrate with 3rd party payment processors, 3D Secure systems, and MasterCard.
• Ensure card business services remain reliable, secure, and performant under high load.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in backend development, preferably with Node.js.
• 6+ years of experience with advanced SQL (MSSQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL).
• 4+ years of experience with NoSQL databases, preferably MongoDB.
• Experience with building SaaS platforms on AWS and managing containers with Kubernetes (EKS).
• Strong understanding of Event-Driven Architecture and message brokers like Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Must be based in Ukraine.

Nice to have

• Experience with C# and Nest.js.
• Experience with AI tools for leveraging team velocity and quality.
