Senior Analyst - WMS Manager Research (Finance)

Location: Minneapolis, Minnesota; in-office collaboration at least four days per week, with flexibility to work from home one day per week

Base salary: $114,500–$157,400 per year, with potential variable compensation through bonuses, commissions, and/or long-term incentives.

What you will do

• Conduct comprehensive investment research, analysis, and manager selection for equity mutual funds, separately managed accounts, and exchange-traded funds.
• Maintain the U.S. Growth Equity category through searches, selection activities, and ongoing due diligence.
• Prepare written reports covering trends, opportunities, recommendations, product management, and new product development.
• Manage relationships with external partners and communicate about product performance, due diligence, and operational issues.
• Lead strategic and cross-organizational projects involving product development, project management, marketing, and maintenance.
• Support issue resolution, wholesaling, and the review of marketing and training content.

Requirements

• 5–7 years of relevant experience, including 3–5 years of manager research experience.
• Experience using Excel, FactSet, and Morningstar Direct to analyze investments.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• FINRA Series 7 certification, or ability to obtain it within 120 days.
• Strong quantitative, written, verbal communication, and relationship-management skills.
• Valid U.S. work authorization without current or future visa sponsorship requirements.

Nice to have

• Experience managing relationships with third-party institutions.
• Expertise in asset allocation, manager combinations, and portfolio structuring.
• Ameriprise field or advisor experience.
• Master’s degree or professional credentials such as CFA, CAIA, CIMA, CFP, CPA, or CIPM.
