Inventory Control Clerk II (B-Shift)

Location: McDonough, GA, United States; onsite distribution center role

What you will do

• Train and mentor new hires, existing team members, and contractors on best practices, equipment and system usage, and safety procedures.
• Conduct scheduled cycle counts and inventory audits using RF devices and manual tracking sheets.
• Maintain detailed records, provide inventory information, and adjust records after physical verification and warehouse management research.
• Investigate inventory discrepancies, including location variances, short picks, inventory movements, and canceled orders or purchase orders.
• Audit outbound shipments for e-commerce, wholesale, and retail customers.
• Support inventory reporting, value-added services projects, and other distribution center operations as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 1.5 years of related experience in a distribution environment.
• Experience with warehouse equipment and systems, plus proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• English proficiency required for speaking and understanding.
• Basic math, strong organization and time management, attention to detail, analytical ability, and professional communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs, walk the warehouse floor, stand for up to 12 hours, and work overtime including weekends and holidays.
