Senior Manager, Credit Assessment (AI)

What you will do

• Define and execute the Credit Assessment strategy and operating model to support sustainable growth and scalability.
• Lead transformation initiatives covering automation, digitisation, workflow improvements, and AI-enabled decisioning.
• Build and develop a high-performing leadership team and promote accountability, innovation, inclusion, and continuous improvement.
• Drive productivity, service delivery, and workforce planning while maintaining strong customer, broker, and risk outcomes.
• Influence stakeholders across Lending, Risk, Distribution, and Technology to align priorities and deliver strategic initiatives.
• Maintain a strong control environment, high-quality credit decisions, and compliance with regulatory and risk obligations.

Requirements

• Significant leadership experience in lending, banking, or financial services, including responsibility for large operational functions and leadership teams.
• Deep knowledge of credit assessment, lending operations, risk management, and regulatory requirements.
• Proven experience leading transformational change through significant organisational evolution.
• Experience developing leaders, building capability, and creating high-performing, customer-focused cultures.
• Commercial acumen, strategic thinking, and the ability to translate vision into practical operational outcomes.
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills in complex environments with competing priorities.
