What you will do
- Perform daily, routine, and preventative maintenance on compressors, pumps, fans, engines, and related mechanical equipment.
- Assist with overhauls of compressors, engines, and pumps, including adjustments, minor repairs, and equipment operation.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, documentation, and paperwork.
- Monitor equipment condition and compliance with Department of Environmental Quality requirements, reporting non-compliance and excessive downtime.
- Support facility upkeep, vehicle maintenance, cost reduction, runtime optimization, and other operational needs.
- Respond promptly to after-hours callouts and follow company, safety, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Two to four years of experience analyzing, adjusting, and making minor repairs to gas compressor engines, plant equipment, and associated systems.
- General knowledge of compressor stations, gathering systems, processing plant operations, and mechanical equipment.
- Knowledge of safe handling practices for flammable gases, liquids, and high-pressure systems.
- Valid state operating license and a driving record meeting company insurability standards.
- Ability to work onsite outdoors and in industrial, hazardous, elevated, and confined-area environments; SCBA fit testing and screening are required as a condition of employment.
