Mechanic (Oil and Gas)

What you will do

• Perform scheduled large-scale preventive maintenance and corrective repairs on compression equipment and rotating equipment.
• Maintain and repair VRUs, air compressors, pumps, generators, engines, turbines, and related production systems.
• Troubleshoot rotating equipment and support equipment reliability activities.
• Manage work orders through CMMS and mobile applications, including pre-work scoping.
• Follow applicable health, environmental, safety, and operating procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work with limited supervision.
• Ability and willingness to work assigned weekends, holidays, and overtime as workload demands.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States; hirify.global does not sponsor employment visas or consider individuals on time-limited visa status.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and other materials.

Nice to have

• Associate of Applied Science degree or higher, or relevant military occupational specialty.
• Two years of current industrial mechanical experience with compressors, engines, turbines, pumps, generators, or similar equipment.
• Experience with oil and gas production and facility process systems.
• Knowledge of MS Office, CMMS, and other software applications.

Hiring process
