Quality Engineer- Electronics (Aerospace)

Location: Fort Walton Beach, Florida, United States; onsite role

What you will do

• Work cross-functionally with Engineering, Operations, Suppliers, Customers, and auditors to maintain product and process quality.
• Collect and analyze production data, quality trends, and statistical studies to evaluate performance.
• Drive root cause analysis, corrective actions, failure analysis, and reliability testing.
• Monitor quality control systems, identify critical value-stream points, and define sampling procedures.
• Qualify product and process changes and review quality document changes, including ECOs, MCOs, and deviations.
• Support AS9145 APQP implementation and establish data-driven continuous-improvement priorities.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Quality, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of Quality Engineering experience in aerospace, electronics, or automotive manufacturing.
• Proficiency with APQP, PPAP, DFMEA, PFMEA, Control Plans, and MSA for AS9145 process control.
• Ability to troubleshoot technical problems, prepare reports and process instructions, and communicate effectively with functional groups.
• Only US Persons may be considered for duties involving access to controlled data or information under ITAR.
• Microsoft Office proficiency is required.

Nice to have

• CQE, CQA, CQM, or a similar ASQ certification.
• Familiarity with AS9100.
• Education in structured problem solving, 5S, mistake-proofing, and process capability tools.
