Production Quality Engineer (Aerospace)

Salary: $75,000–$156,000 base salary per year

What you will do

• Provide technical support to customers, suppliers, and employees in resolving quality issues.
• Improve manufacturing, process, and product efficiency to reduce nonconforming products.
• Ensure products meet organizational and customer quality and product integrity requirements.
• Support product development and operations teams with analysis and expertise throughout inspection processes.
• Participate in cross-functional failure analysis, determine root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
• Analyze quality and defect data to identify trends and prevent recurrence.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in an engineering discipline.
• 3–5 years of experience in quality engineering or another engineering role.
• Working knowledge of Lean Six Sigma principles.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001:2015 and AS9100 quality standards.
• Expert knowledge of process integration, with strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Ability to work on cross-functional teams and communicate clearly in writing and verbally.
