Product Engineer (Adjacent Markets) (f/m/d) (Electrical Distribution Systems)

Location: Wolfsburg, Germany; willingness to travel up to 50% depending on project and customer needs.

What you will do

• Lead, manage, and develop the electrical distribution systems product line for adjacent markets.
• Identify and secure new projects through advanced engineering, strategy development, and business development activities.
• Analyze organizational needs, communicate with management and engineering teams, and improve collaboration with customers and internal departments.
• Lead requests for quotation and information, providing accurate technical inputs on schedule and coordinating suppliers and vertical integration.
• Support project handovers by ensuring execution teams have the required resources and technical preparation.
• Manage external collaborations, budgets, quality-system activities, progress reporting, and customer communication.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience in the electrical sector in a technical and commercial function.
• Solid understanding of customer environments in technology-driven and regulated industries.
• Experience in strategy development, advanced engineering, or business development within technical environments.
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to work in ambiguous or evolving markets.
• Fluent English in speaking and writing is required; good German is desirable.
