Product Engineer (Rail Vehicle Cable Systems)

What you will do

• Develop cable systems for rail vehicles according to customer requirements.
• Clarify applications and technical specifications.
• Assess technical feasibility and calculate product prices.
• Prepare SolidWorks construction drawings, material parts lists, data sheets, and other product documentation.
• Supervise and monitor initial production.
• Support sales, project management, customers, and internal departments on product-related matters.

Requirements

• Completed technical vocational training and further training as a technician in electrical engineering or mechatronics, or comparable professional experience.
• Initial professional experience in product development of systems is advantageous.
• Independent, structured, resilient, organized, and team-oriented working style.
• Strong communication skills and high willingness to learn.
• Good English knowledge required.
• Secure knowledge of MS Office and SolidWorks.
