Advanced Material Engineer (Automotive)

Location: Krakow, Poland; hybrid work with up to 47 remote days per year

What you will do

• Define and technically supervise materials for harnesses, cables, busbars, flat cables, data cables, and sustainable products.
• Implement customer requirements in material and cable testing procedures, and perform tests according to customer specifications and international standards.
• Lead projects involving thermoplastic and cross-linked materials, recycled and bio-based compounds, sustainability, and new busbar and flat-wire technologies.
• Coordinate material testing, thermal and mechanical simulations, prototype production, and technical support for production plants.
• Manage the product development cycle from initial concept through prototyping to serial production, including risk reduction planning.
• Develop global M-specifications, coordinate supplier contacts, and oversee the specification release process for cables, bulk materials, and sustainable products.

Requirements

• M.Sc. Engineering degree, preferably in Chemistry, Material Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of professional experience.
• Fluent English required.
• Very good Microsoft Office skills.
• Ability to work effectively as a team member and manage priorities, schedules, and reporting.
• International travel may be required.
