Quality Control Technician / Inspector – Multiple Shifts (Manufacturing)

Location: Gainesville, Georgia, United States; onsite in a machine shop

What you will do

• Inspect products against technical drawings and specifications.
• Perform precision measurements using calipers, micrometers, profilometers, roughness testers, visual measurement systems, and related equipment.
• Operate CMM equipment and develop new CMM measurement programs.
• Conduct tests, analyze results, prepare detailed reports, and recommend machining adjustments.
• Support production and engineering by helping ensure products meet quality requirements.

Requirements

• 3+ years of quality control experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints and using conventional measuring equipment.
• Proficiency with CMM equipment; Zeiss or Mitutoyo experience is preferred.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• High school diploma, associate degree in a technical field, or equivalent experience.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment involving walking, bending, prolonged standing, lifting up to 50 pounds, visual inspection, and computer data entry.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with machine tools such as milling machines and lathes.
