Quality Technician (Manufacturing)

Location: Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, United States; onsite

Salary: $42,500–$63,600 annually, plus eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus.

What you will do

• Support Operations, Engineering, and Procurement with strategic and tactical quality activities.
• Develop suppliers and sister plants by driving corrective actions, eliminating errors, and improving efficiency.
• Perform internal audits to ISO standards and troubleshoot complex production problems.
• Manage nonconforming material activities, including containment, MRB reviews, part disposition, notifications, and corrective actions.
• Coordinate internal and external quality spill and containment activities.
• Create standardized work instructions, quality alerts, and training for engine and component assembly while supporting plant-wide tool calibration.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least two years of relevant experience in manufacturing, operations, or quality engineering.
• Familiarity with GD&T and the ability to read and understand blueprints, tolerances, and symbols.
• Understanding of basic quality tools and problem-solving techniques.
• Knowledge of Advanced Quality Planning and PPAP to support product development.
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001:2015.

Nice to have

• Associate degree in a specialized technical or scientific field.
• ASQ Quality Technician or Auditor certification.
• Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification with project experience.
• Experience with inspection techniques, metrology, SPC, CMM operation, DC tooling, and advanced gaging.
