What you will do

• Design temporary and permanent structures for utility, infrastructure, and heavy civil construction projects.
• Develop structural calculation submittals and perform preliminary evaluations and analyses.
• Coordinate the development of design drawings and shop drawings.
• Support project pursuits and bids through technical evaluations.
• Communicate and coordinate with design and field teams.
• Mentor and support other engineers and assist the Principal Engineer with assigned duties.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• 4–8 years of experience designing temporary works, heavy civil, or infrastructure projects.
• Active Professional Engineer license in any U.S. state.
• Proficiency with MS Excel, Mathcad, AutoCAD, and finite element analysis.
• Strong attention to detail, adaptability, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record are required.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in structures.
• Knowledge of geotechnical engineering, foundations, retaining walls, and earth retention systems.
• Previous construction field experience.
