Salary: $118,000–$177,000 USD per year

What you will do

• Design temporary and permanent structures for utility, infrastructure, and heavy civil construction projects.
• Develop structural calculation submittals and preliminary evaluations and analyses.
• Coordinate the development of design and shop drawings.
• Support project pursuits and bids with engineering analyses.
• Mentor and support other engineers while coordinating with design and field teams.
• Provide engineering support to the Principal Engineer as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and 4–8 years of experience designing temporary works, heavy civil, or infrastructure projects.
• Active Professional Engineer license in any U.S. state.
• Proficiency with MS Excel, Mathcad, AutoCAD, and Finite Element Analysis.
• Strong attention to detail, adaptability in a rapidly changing environment, and excellent interpersonal and written and oral communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in structures.
• Basic knowledge of geotechnical engineering, foundations, retaining walls, and earth retention systems.
• Previous construction field experience.
