Vice President, Portfolio Analytics and Monitoring (Private Credit)

Location: Los Angeles, United States

Base salary: $185,000–$225,000 per year, plus discretionary bonus incentives and benefits.

What you will do

• Manage data and information on prospective and existing investments to support portfolio management, investor reporting, diligence, and portfolio construction.
• Build and enhance analytical frameworks and tools for monitoring and reporting across private credit businesses.
• Collect data supporting the valuation of existing investments and track portfolio company financials, covenant compliance, and information rights.
• Review quarterly valuations and marketing materials for accuracy with portfolio reporting teams.
• Develop an understanding of internal systems, processes, roles, and responsibilities across functional groups.
• Coordinate with investment professionals, legal, tax, accounting, compliance, deal operations, and reporting teams throughout the investment process.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience at an asset management company, investment bank, or other financial services company.
• 5+ years of experience in private credit portfolio monitoring or portfolio analytics, including reviewing credit agreements and amendments.
• Strong knowledge of private credit fund concepts, including corporate direct lending, real estate lending, and specialty lending.
• Experience with technology used to support private lending and/or BSL strategies.
• Strong technical skills in SQL, Power BI, and Python.
• Bachelor’s degree and strong communication, organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Nice to have

• CPA, CFA, or MBA.
