SOC Design Engineer (FPGA)

Location: Shanghai, China; onsite role with a requirement to provide proof of the right to work in China.

What you will do

• Identify domain-specific solution and application requirements and define and develop the necessary IP.
• Integrate IP blocks into SoCs and verify the complete implementation flow.
• Perform SoC-level functional verification and performance evaluation.
• Set up the board-level development environment and bring up the SoC.
• Collaborate with software engineers on hardware-software co-verification and system debugging.

Requirements

• Master’s degree or above in ME, EE, CS, or a related field.
• Knowledge of embedded systems, SoC design, or digital/FPGA design.
• Proficiency with Verilog/SystemVerilog and simulation tools such as Ncsim and ModelSim/QuestaSim.
• Knowledge of system buses including AXI, AHB, or Wishbone.
• Independent problem-solving ability and strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Successful background and reference checks, plus proof of the right to work in China, are required.

Nice to have

• Experience with FPGA-related design and development flows.
• Knowledge of RISC architectures and microarchitecture, including RISC-V or ARM.
• Experience with peripheral and legacy IP such as PCIe, SPI, I2C, or UART.
• Embedded programming experience in C.
