Medical Director, GMA - Bladder Cancer (Oncology)

Location: Office-based in Raritan, New Jersey, United States; up to 25% domestic and international travel required.

Base pay: $164,000–$282,900 annually. The role is also eligible for performance-based bonuses and long-term incentives.

What you will do

• Provide bladder cancer subject-matter expertise and represent US Medical Affairs on cross-functional oncology teams.
• Develop scientific narratives, core asset themes, FAQs, scientific platforms, MSL materials, medical communications, scientific exchange, and training content.
• Lead key opinion leader engagement to gather insights and strengthen the bladder cancer program strategy.
• Represent Medical Affairs at advisory boards, lead data presentations, and facilitate discussions that inform medical strategy.
• Build relationships with medical societies and patient advocacy organizations.
• Lead evidence-generation processes in collaboration with the therapeutic area team and global organization.

Requirements

• A PhD, PharmD, or MD is required.
• Experience leading medical education and medical communications is required.
• Strong written, oral, presentation, organizational, and stakeholder communication skills are required.
• Ability to work in a matrix environment with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work from the Raritan, New Jersey office and travel up to 25% annually.

Nice to have

• Oncology and bladder cancer background.
• At least five years of relevant pharmaceutical industry or equivalent experience.
• Medical launch strategy and congress strategy experience.
• Prioritized KOL engagement and Phase II–IV pharmaceutical trial design or conduct experience.
• Track record of developing, presenting, and publishing clinical studies.
