Money Desk Specialist (Insurtech)

What you will do

• Process distributions, check requests and deposits, wire transfers, ACH setups, cost basis inquiries, account transfers, transfer delays, and trade orders.
• Support advisors with paperwork requirements, firm policies, procedures, and operational processes.
• Coordinate between advisors, clients, and account custodians to facilitate timely and accurate processing.
• Research, analyze, and resolve operational issues while minimizing Not-In-Good-Order submissions.
• Collaborate with internal departments on customer service initiatives, projects, and process improvements.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience working directly with a broker-dealer, Registered Investment Advisor, or insurance organization.
• At least 4 years of client service, operations, or related experience in financial services.
• Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant work experience.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
• FINRA Series 7 must be obtained within the first six months of employment.

Nice to have

• Series 65 or Series 66 licensing.
