Principal Analyst, IT Compliance (Cybersecurity)

Location: Remote within the United States; sourcing focuses on Orlando, Tampa, Atlanta, Houston, and Dallas, with candidates outside those hubs required to be located in Florida, Georgia, Texas, or North Carolina. Regular travel to Carnival headquarters in Miami, Florida may be required.

What you will do

• Develop and document IT compliance strategies aligned with laws, regulations, and standards including SOX, PCI, and GDPR.
• Lead regulatory assessments, review evidence and controls, interview stakeholders, and resolve compliance issues across cross-functional teams.
• Monitor regulatory changes, assess compliance risks and impacts, prepare management and regulatory reports, and build automated continuous-monitoring processes.
• Lead internal and external audit responses, review access controls, data protection measures, and security configurations, and present findings to senior leadership.
• Develop and maintain IT policies, procedures, standards, and compliance documentation.
• Oversee vendor and third-party compliance assessments, audits, and remediation activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 7 years of experience in regulatory auditing or assessment, PCI and SOX compliance, IAM and access controls, segregation of duties, IT compliance, and critical compliance projects.
• At least 5 years of experience working with cross-functional technology teams, managing large projects, and auditing IT systems.
• Required certification: CISA or CIA.
• Expert knowledge of systems architecture, networks, configuration, logging, monitoring, administration, and multisite enterprise environments.
• Technical knowledge across AWS, Azure, GCP, IAM/PAM, Linux, Windows, databases, and DevOps/CI-CD pipelines.

Nice to have

• Experience in the cruise or travel industry.
• PMP, CISM, CFSA, CITGCP, CSOXI, PCIP, or CISSP certification.
• Experience developing executive dashboards, reports, and presentations.
