What you will do

• Operate heavy equipment including front-end loaders, forklifts, sweepers, skid steers, and conveyors.
• Operate packaging and palletizing equipment for bulk material handling.
• Work primarily outdoors in extreme weather conditions.
• Respond to customer inquiries and interact positively with customers.
• Follow written and verbal instructions, work with supervisors and coworkers, and complete other assigned duties.
• Work the typical 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. schedule, with occasional second-shift work, overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Prior experience operating heavy equipment such as front-end loaders, forklifts, sweepers, and conveyors.
• Knowledge of packaging and palletizing equipment and good mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds to waist level, climb ladders and stairs, and raise body weight up to four feet.
• Ability to work outdoors, follow schedules and work rules, maintain dependable attendance, and work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
• Basic computer skills, including familiarity with MS Office, operating systems, and company software; successful completion of validated testing, a background check, and a drug screen is required after an offer.
