Senior Insurance Contracts Specialist (Hybrid)

Location: Paris, France; hybrid work with an expectation of being in the office at least three days per week.

Annual base salary: EUR 74,000–110,000, plus performance-based variable compensation and additional benefits.

What you will do

• Draft and develop French hirify.global CorSo forms, ad hoc clauses, and insurance wordings.
• Review third-party manuscript wordings, identify risks, and assess compliance with internal guidelines.
• Collaborate with underwriters and internal stakeholders on complex contractual and wording topics.
• Conduct contract audits and comprehensive reviews to ensure quality and compliance.
• Monitor market developments and analyze competitor wordings within the French insurance market.
• Provide contractual guidance and deliver training on policy wordings and insurance contract principles.

Requirements

• Native-level French proficiency.
• At least seven years of experience in underwriting or claims, with a strong understanding of insurance principles.
• Comprehensive knowledge of policy wordings across CorSo lines including E&C, Property, GL, or FinPro.
• Legal aptitude, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to analyze complex contractual language.
• Experience building strong relationships with underwriters and influencing stakeholders.
• Strong communication and contract negotiation skills.
