Cyber Compliance Manager (Financial Services)

Location: Charlotte, United States; willing to travel up to 30%, including international destinations, on short notice and for potentially extended periods.

Salary: $107,000–$214,500 annually, plus discretionary bonus.

What you will do

• Oversee financial services cyber compliance engagements and connect delivery work to broader cybersecurity advisory opportunities.
• Lead, coach, and develop managers, seniors, and staff while maintaining high-quality engagement delivery.
• Support integrated cybersecurity solutions covering compliance, risk, governance, transformation, AI security, and cloud security.
• Advise clients on payment card data protection, regulatory compliance, breach response, and information governance frameworks.
• Assess and support cybersecurity compliance programs, operational processes, technology, and guidelines.
• Translate complex technical and regulatory issues into executive reports and presentations while supporting account growth.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in cyber compliance, cybersecurity risk, or consulting within financial services, including engagement oversight and team development.
• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, business, or a related discipline.
• Working knowledge of PCI DSS, NIST CSF, GLBA Safeguards Rule, NYDFS 23 NYCRR Part 500, and FFIEC cybersecurity guidance and assessment approaches.
• Experience with regulatory monitoring, business requirements, data inventories and information-flow mapping, cybersecurity risk management, third-party vendor management, data subject requests, incident management, and breach notifications.
• Technical knowledge of network and IT infrastructure, applications and databases, IT governance and risk management, third-party management, incident response, and network security components.

Nice to have

• CISSP, CISA, CISM, PCI QSA, or similar cybersecurity, governance, risk, and compliance certification.
• Advanced degree focused on data protection, privacy, or a related field.
• Experience working with management, business, marketing, HR, IT, Legal, and other organizational stakeholders.
• Experience working effectively in virtual environments with geographically distributed teams.
• Strong written, oral, and presentation skills, along with creative thinking and knowledge of security and privacy industry developments.
