ROW/Land Representative - Georgia (Land Services)

Location: Savannah, Georgia, United States. Work includes field activities at properties, governmental agencies, client offices, and corporate entities, with travel and outdoor work in varying climates.

Salary: USD $35,568–$83,200 per year, plus potential discretionary bonus.

What you will do

• Research property ownership and contact landowners and tenants affected by projects.
• Explain appraisals and valuations, secure property access, and maintain positive landowner relationships.
• Negotiate right-of-way options, easements, fee interests, curative documents, and damage settlements.
• Maintain contact diaries, payment logs, weekly activity reports, and required ROW documentation.
• Support construction activities, project mail-outs, file preparation, data needs, and community meetings.
• Coordinate with landowner attorneys and obtain documents from county public records.

Requirements

• Five years of experience as a ROW agent or in a related right-of-way position.
• Associate degree preferred, or at least five years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of land descriptions, surface and subsurface rights, ROW document analysis, property valuation, and negotiation.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, spreadsheets, word processing, and land database systems.
• Valid driver's license required; ability to obtain a state Notary Public credential and any required state real estate license.
• Ability to work independently, travel as required, walk long distances over varying terrain, and lift or move up to 35 pounds.

Nice to have

• SR/WA or another IRWA designation.
