What you will do
- Participate in a structured, one-year construction management development program with mentorship, hands-on learning, and performance reviews every four months.
- Support day-to-day jobsite operations, including maintaining project records, construction documents, directories, daily reports, submittal logs, and RFI logs.
- Assist with site inspections, building and site protection, construction tasks, as-built drawings, coordination drawings, and project scheduling.
- Complete material take-offs, place supplier orders, receive deliveries, and assist with survey and layout activities.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, clients, and project managers, including supporting logistics, budgeting, and client management.
- Support the corporate safety program through safety meetings, toolbox talks, and required safety reports.
Requirements
- Fully onsite presence in Dallas, TX, is required for the entire 12-month training program.
- High school diploma required.
- Military experience or a four-year degree in construction, engineering, architecture, or business is strongly preferred.
- Previous commercial jobsite experience and a strong interest in construction are preferred.
- Ability to learn project software, including Microsoft Office 365, Procore, Adobe Suite, Bluebeam, and JD Edwards.
- Ability to walk or stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
