Application Security Analyst II - AI

What you will do

• Identify application security vulnerabilities and collaborate with development teams on remediation.
• Lead risk assessments and contribute to threat modeling to determine appropriate security controls.
• Research and evaluate application security tools, technologies, processes, and standards.
• Advise software development project teams on IT security throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Improve application security policies, procedures, metrics, training, and process improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in IT Security, a related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in software development, application security, and/or IT operations, including at least 1 year in application security.
• Understanding of server-side and client-side security issues.
• Knowledge of common OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities and secure coding techniques.

Nice to have

• CSSLP or Security+ certification.
• Familiarity with OWASP SAMM, BSIMM, or another application security maturity model.
• Experience with Waterfall and Agile development teams.
• Experience evaluating API and microservices security controls.
