Shift Supervisor (Paper Mill Operations)

Location: Jackson, Alabama, United States; onsite in a paper mill

Salary: $96,000–$120,000 per year

What you will do

• Represent management on shift and ensure safe paper mill operations.
• Maintain environmental compliance, quality assurance, cost control, and productivity across mill areas.
• Provide leadership, guidance, and consistent communication across all shifts.
• Support department managers, superintendents, team leaders, and crew leaders.
• Coach employees on performance management and provide feedback on overall performance.
• Contribute to department initiatives, projects, and mill-wide programs, with particular focus on nights and weekends.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in pulp and paper, engineering, or equivalent work experience in the pulp and paper industry.
• At least two years of applicable experience in paper mill operations.
• Background in paper mill manufacturing, production, and maintenance.
• Ability to learn new concepts and information.
• Organizational, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
