Production Supervisor - Night Shift (Manufacturing)

Location: Marshall, TX, United States; onsite night-shift role

What you will do

• Direct assigned production resources to optimize manufacturing performance, cost, quality, and delivery.
• Manage hourly direct labor employees within the assigned manufacturing areas and night shift.
• Coordinate with cross-functional departments to use manpower, materials, and equipment effectively.
• Lead productivity and continuous-improvement initiatives.
• Manage employee performance and accountability for safety, quality, and production standards.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment required.
• 3–5 years of experience in a team-based manufacturing environment required.
• Strong MS Office and systems background.
• Ability to lead hourly manufacturing employees, manage performance, and hold employees accountable to safety, quality, and production standards.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a high-performance manufacturing environment, manage competing priorities, motivate teams, communicate effectively, and drive continuous improvement.
• Critical thinking, analytical, planning, leadership, administrative, and written and oral communication skills.
• Understanding of business principles and practices and ability to manage manufacturing with a bottom-line focus.

Nice to have

• Experience in wire, cable, extrusion, or related manufacturing environments.
• Experience in a unionized manufacturing environment.
• Experience in continuous-process or high-volume manufacturing environments.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Technology, or a related field. Equivalent manufacturing leadership experience may substitute for formal education.
